On this hot July night in 1961, waitress Mimi and chef Gaston await the arrival of their Cafe's owner. Victor returns from the bullfights in Madrid, disheveled, too depressed to eat and without the beautiful Madame. The hilarious staff attempt to unravel the strange events in Spain and lift Victor's spirits with a sumptuous meal on empty plates. Come to Paris for a feast celebrating cooking, sex, bullfighting and a little Ernest Hemingway.
