Patrick Marber's tale of truth and lies told in the round. The intimate setting of Generic's season opener presents this story of criss-crossed lovers like you've never seen it before. Stellar performances by both newcomers and veterans of the stage promise for a riveting night of theater.

Marber creates a brilliant exploration into the brutal anatomy of modern romance, where a quartet of strangers meet, fall in love, and become caught up in a web of sexual desire and betrayal. Closer is hailed as one of the best plays of the nineties, and the London Observer noted that it “has wired itself into the cultural vocabulary in a way that few plays have ever done."

Directed by Brendan Hoyle with original music composed by Jon Bremner.
