A fiendishly clever tale of witchcraft in contemporary England. Scary, funny, and wildly entertaining, The Witches centers on a young boy whose parents were killed in a car crash and who now lives with his grandmother. She tells him stories about witches who kill children, which he doesn’t believe until he actually meets one. When his grandmother falls ill, they decide to take their summer holiday at a nice hotel on the south coast of England and their terrifying adventure with witches begins.
