This $7.4 million, 28,000-square-foot facility is the largest and most expensive recreation center the city has ever constructed. In addition to a full-size basketball court, the facility offers a workout room, a dance studio, an art studio with two kilns to fire ceramics, two computer rooms, a kitchen with a large, sit-down eating area, meeting rooms, a library and a game room. City officials hope eventually to add an indoor pool.
